Interesting Hair Cut?

I have long curly hair that almost to the middle of my back. I want to cut it so it stays long but I want something different and exciting instead of just long. I've already tried layers they ended up makeing me look like I had a triangle head. :P Thanks for all the answers

you could do the scene hair if your into that style.( you would have to straighten it tho.)

you could still gey layers just get bangs too and part it on the side.
