iam going to get a hair cut and a hair dye i want to have bangs and die my hair meduim brown or black i have a tan but i also have freckels wat do you think i should do?????????

If you are not sure about the colour you could try going just a few shades darker and then if you like it you could get it dyed again rather than taking it too dark and finding you dont like it.

Have a look at lots and lots of styles in magazines and online. Find out what shape face you have - my face is round, so I already know that round styles like bobs and shorter hair just emphasise the roundness of my face and aren't a good look. Work out what would suit you before you get your hair cut!

A good stylist will work with your skin tone to get a colour that suits you, block colour of either brown or black might be too harsh if your hair is lighter, the stylist might add some lowlights to darken the hair, but won't overwhelm you. Your freckles probably won't affect what colour hair suits you!

Have a consultation and ask lots of questions before you commit to an appointment and if it's possible go to lots of different salons and ask to see their previous work and how much it will all cost you.

what you can do, is go into a salon. they SHOULD have magazines, and books on hair styles. Find one that you like, or you can even image search for celeb hair styles. Say you like the back of one hair style, but dont care for the front. Find a front you like, and use that front with the back you like. As far as the color goes. any normal salon with give yuo a FREE consultation with a color expert. if you have a Fantasic Sam's near you, go to them. they are the best and any sort of consultation is free, and they give the BEST advise i have ever been given when it comes to my hair.... best of luck..

for the best colour, look towards your natural hair colour. it is best to stay between 2 shades lighter or 2 shades darker than this colour. for anything too different i definately recommend foils or tips. bangs suit people with longer faces. but they are good either way for a change.
