Short hair cut??

I have super thick hair and its a little bit longer than my shoulders...any way i want to get a short cut but i am afraid i will look like a poodle! Any tips?? please!

Well I would cut it maybe a 1/2 of an inch above your shoulder. That way you see how you like it a little shorter and if you like it then you can go as short as you want. It will grow back! Good luck!

Do it, if you don't like it, it will grow back! It may also help to have some layers, generally that makes the hair a bit thinner, also, do you straighten your hair? That could also help to keep it under control!

do not, i repeat, do not cut it really short.

yhea sure its nice at first, but after a couple of weeks, if you have thick curly hair like mine, it ends up looking like a fro.

so uhm, keep it long.

i recently got mine cut way short......I LOVE IT!!!!!buy hair magazines and flip through them. mark the onces u like and then talk to the hair dresser about wich onces would work for u and your hair. enjoy.

I have VERY thick hair too, and I did this one time and looked absolutely ridicules and vow to NEVER do anything like that ever again. If ya can't tell I have strong feelings on this matter.
