Is it safe to cut my hair?!?

I'm 14 years old and my hair's down to my waist now. All my friends have had their hair cut before but my parents say I should never cut mine. They said it'll hurt and could become infected. Is this true? They HAVE lied to me before when they said washing would cause my skin to turn red/blister which is the only reason why I'm sceptical.

haha i am just kidding. its fine to get your hair cut. it is litterally painless becuase hair isnt a part of your body.

personally, i was suggest getting your hair cut about every 3 months. going too long without it makes it really unhealthy.

plus. if it hurt, i think hair salons would probably be out of business right now=]

hahahaha, they are flat out lying to ya. your hair WILL NOT hurt and it will NOT get infected. that's the biggest lie I ever heard of in my life and coming from a 14 year old... you should be smarter then that. Don't ask that question at school, you will be laughed at... badly... lol

washing your hair is good and wont hurt... and same with getting your hair cut. in fact, not cutting your hair is bad. it'll give you split ends... no matter who you are, you should cut your hair every 8-10 weeks and wash it at least every other day.
